Get a taste of Mass Audubon's Bird-a-thon by seeing how many species of birds you can identify on the saltmarsh and in the field and surrounding woods. As a group, we will count any birds we see or hear from within a 25-foot circle located at the top of the hill on the Bay View Trail. Naturalists will help with bird sightings, songs, and identification. Designed for birders of all levels and abilities, this opportunity can help you enhance your birding skills and knowledge while helping Mass Audubon in the annual Bird-a-thon fundraiser.
Meet in front of the Nature Center. Dress for the weather. Bring binoculars if you have them, sun protection, a seat, and drinking water. Plan to stay in one place for about an hour.
