Try out snowshoes and experience winter like a snowshoe hare, whose large feet keep it from sinking into the snow! Go on a guided hike, search for animal tracks and other signs of wildlife, and discover how animals and plants have adapted to survive winter weather. This program meets the requirements of the "Trail Adventure" badge for Daisies and Brownies, but is open for all levels. If no snow we'll learn about the different types of snowshoes and get to try them on.
Instructions and Directions:
Snowshoes available for rent for an additional $3/$5 per hour (M/NM). Program will take place with or without snow.
