Ramblers conduct ecosystem investigations at Stony Brook. On daily outings, they use their senses to identify familiar species of plants and animals. Ramblers are encouraged to explore their own areas of interest and further develop their social skills as they participate in activities, games, and crafts.
Theme: Buried Treasure
Root out all of the hidden surprises on the sanctuary, reveal nature's secrets, and follow treasure maps in search of camouflaged loot. Have fun solving animal riddles, puzzles, and mysteries. Act like a red squirrel and hide a small cache of treats and challenge friends to find them.
