Wildlife Sanctuary Ground Clean-up
Spend some quality time outside and get connected to nature by volunteering with us this summer at our Museum of American Bird Art in Canton. Work alongside staff with seasonal tidying all around this beautiful 120-acre wildlife sanctuary, just 15 miles south of Boston.
Together we will spruce up everything from the gardens and trails to parking areas and more! Activities will include weeding, raking, collecting trash or recyclables, sweeping, etc.
All work will be outdoors. The tasks are physical and require walking on uneven surfaces.
Projects suitable for age 14 . Volunteers between ages 14-17 must be accompanied by parent/guardian during work.
Your confirmation will contain a link with additional reminders about the day.
Please arrive by 9am for Volunteer Orientation and to check in.
Dress for the weather; rain will postpone this event. Rain date is Saturday June 26th.
Long pants and closed toe, sturdy shoes recommended. Insect repellent to prevent ticks, sunscreen and a shade-providing hat are also suggested.
Bring water and a snack if you like.
Upon arrival and throughout your volunteer project please maintain social distancing and wear a mask.
