Explore the diverse, colorful, and at times surprising world of insects. Learn about their amazing anatomy, life cycles, behavior, and ecological relationships. In this series, we'll focus on dragonflies and damselflies, beetles and bugs, and butterflies and moths. Familiarize yourself with conservation threats, existing community science projects, and everyday actions you can take to help keep local insects and their habitats healthy.
Each of these three weekly online presentations will include optional, self-directed outdoor observation exercises and a 30-minute follow-up discussion session a week later, providing an opportunity for you to practice what you've learned and share your discoveries with classmates and the presenters.
