Search for wintering land birds and seabirds along the beautiful coast of southern Maine. You'll visit Portland Harbor, Cape Elizabeth, Prouts Neck, Biddeford Pool, Marginal Way (Ogunquit), and Cape Neddick. Our target species are Black Guillemot, Long-tailed Duck, King Eider, Barrow's Goldeneye, Iceland and Glaucous gulls, Snowy Owl, and many more.

Instructions and Directions:

Meet at Joppa Flats Education Center. Please wear warm clothing and waterproof shoes/boots; bring binoculars and snacks.

Joppa Flats Cancellation Policy: Please notify us at least 24 hours prior to your program if you must cancel. If you cancel less than 24 hours ahead, we can only offer a refund or credit if we subsequently fill your space. We cannot transfer your payment to another registration with less than 24 hours' notice.
