Through hands-on investigations, games, and meaningful discussions, discover why the days are colder and shorter in winter and how it affects the plants and animals on the farm and beyond. Discover what animals are active in the colder months through the clues they leave behind. Can you figure out what they are eating and how they are staying warm? Why aren't some animals around during the winter and where they have gone? Observe how some plants look different in the winter and see how they respond to snow and ice.
