(For Teachers of Students in Grades 6-12)

This online professional development opportunity allows participants to investigate climate science and community-based solutions with local scientists. Through online classes and field work, participants will learn about ecological restoration, climate resilience, adaptation, and mitigation, and how to understand global trends and identify local solutions. There is a suggested callback session in the Fall to discuss implementation.

If you wish to receive graduate credit(s) for this workshop, please contact Jen Klein at jklein@massaudubon.org. You will be instructed on how to proceed with the grad credit request. (Please note that grad credits incur an additional cost beyond the registration fee for the program.)

Instructions and Directions:

July 13th, 14th and 17th are online sessions with Mass Audubon staff. July 15th and 16th are self-scheduled independent work out in the field. Suggested callback in the fall, date TBD.

Registration is required.
