Help the farmer with the first harvest of the year and discover how the people of long ago learned what sweet treats could be made from maple water.
Advance registration is required. Programs are designed for one or more adults, with one to three children per adult. Younger siblings and "backpack babies" are welcome, except where noted, though oldest child should be at least 3 years old; please mention younger participants when registering. Prices are per participant (adult and child), per series. Prices for children ages 12-17 months is half the regular price; to receive this discount you will need to call 781-259-2200, Monday-Friday,"backpack babies" are free of charge. Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary is a dynamic environment. Occasionally we may make programmatic changes to take advantage of new opportunities or to maintain the safety of our visitors and the animals we care for.
Preregistration is required for all family programs. Don't let low enrollment ruin your program - register today! Cancellation requires a one week notice for refund.
Children should be the age indicated by the start of each program.
On the first day of each program, please check in at the Visitor Services Window at the Nature Center to find out where your class will be meeting.
Programs include time indoors and outside, and will run rain, shine, or light snow. Please come dressed comfortably for your outdoor adventures! If severe weather occurs please call our cancellation line by dialing 781-259-2200 (press 2, then 3).
In programs where there is a farm to food connection, snacks from the farm may be incorporated.
