Farm Trekkers is a partnership between Boston Nature Center and Drumlin Farm. Each week the program will bring together 10 Boston-area and 10 Lincoln-area children for a camp experience focused around food and farming. Children will have up-close time caring for the farm animals (cows, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, and pony), explore the varied habitats of Drumlin Farm and the Boston Nature Center (field, forest, wetlands), work in the crop fields and gardens, and taste food that they gathered themselves.
Daily Schedule: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Before and After Camp options are available. You will be able to register for before-camp and/or after-camp care during the check-out process.
Bring two snacks (morning and afternoon), water, lunch and both indoor and outdoor footwear. Dress or pack for the weather since we go out every day.
Please note: Farm Trekkers begins and ends each day at the Boston Nature Center. Transportation is provided for off-site trips.
Payment and all camp forms are due May 2, 2022.
We use the online health form system CampDoc. Families will be sent an email link to update their camper's health history and to upload their physical and immunization records.
