Over the course of four weeks a Boston Nature Center Naturalist will lead section walks of the Neponset River Greenway. Starting from Mattapan Station on July 9, we will walk the paved trail and learn about the natural history of the area, including trees, birds, and the importance of the Neponset River and its watershed.
Walks will take place on Friday, July 9 & 30, and Friday, August 13 & 27. The path is paved, with a few inclines. Sunscreen, good walking shoes, water and bug spray recommended. In the case of inclement weather, the program will be canceled and you will be notified. Each session will start at a different location. Please call 617-983-8500 ext 6908 with questions.
This program is free for DotRx members.
Please Note: Masks are optional for outdoor programs.
