Camp BNC at Boston Nature Center - Owls, Hawks, and Falcons (ages 5 to 9)
Whether hiking in the woods, bird watching at the overlook, or digging in the garden, campers at the Boston Nature Center have fun while learning about nature. Every day children discover the world around them through an engaging nature-inspired curriculum and in a safe, inclusive camp community. Join us for a unique camp experience that combines high-quality science education with the traditions of summer camp that will help your child build a life-long connect to the outdoors!
Owls (age 5), Hawks (age 6 and 7), Falcons (age 8 and 9) each have their own weekly curriculum based on a nature theme and age appropriate framework. The weekly themes are explored through a combination of the following activities: observations, investigations, group projects, nature journals, walks on the trails, art activities, related group games, songs, and more.
Registration is limited to four weeks per camper.
Daily Schedule: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Before Camp: 7:30 am to 8:30 am Fee per week: $35
After Camp: 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm Fee per week: $35
You will be able to register for before-camp and/or after-camp care during the check-out process.
Family Showcase on the last day of every week, children share their understanding of the weekly theme with their friends and families.
Bring two snacks (morning and afternoon), water, lunch and both indoor and outdoor footwear. Dress or pack for the weather since we go out every day.

Payment and all camp forms are due May 15, 2020.
We use the online health form system CampDoc. Families will be sent an email link to update their camper's health history and to upload their physical and immunization records.
Each camper is limited to four weeks per site (Mattapan & West Roxbury). If you register for more than four weeks at one site, we will contact you about the registration and a full refund will be given.
