The winter landscape is ideal for searching the forests and fields for evidence of mammals and birds. Mice and voles leave behind tunnels as they find safety and warmth underneath the snow layer. Winter woodpecker holes can be seen lower on the trees than those found in the summer. We will take a moderate hike in search of evidence of animals in winter.
The program will take place entirely outdoors, however indoor restrooms are available. Participants are required to wear a facemask when indoors.
