Join Environmental Historian Dietrich Schlobohm for a walk through Bear Hole in West Springfield. Mass Audubon, in partnership with the MA Department of Conservation and Recreation and the City of West Springfield, permanently protected the 1,500 acres of Bear Hole in 2021. On this slow paced walk you'll learn about the history of this remarkable piece of land while discovering its natural wonders.

Instructions and Directions:

Meet at Bear Hole Reservoir Parking at the end of Bear Hole Rd in West Springfield. This program will be conducted in accordance with current Municipal, State, and Mass Audubon Covid-19 protocols. The program will take place entirely outdoors.
