Dig deeper into the relationship between milkweed and Monarch butterflies. In this field-based workshop, learn about the life cycle of the Monarch and how it depends on milkweed for success. REceive citizen science training on the Monarch Larval Monitoring Project, a study aimed to better understand the distribution and abundance of breeding Monarchs in North America. Learn how to foster and monitor your own milkweed patch.

Instructions and Directions:

Dress for an outdoor experience and be sure to apply sunscreen and insect repellent.
