West Mountain, situated within the watershed of the federally designated Wild & Scenic Westfield River, is part of one of the largest aggregations of conserved land in Massachusetts. The sanctuary provides valuable habitat for mammals as well as habitat for a number of state-listed rare plants and ground nesting birds.

  • Dog walking and horseback riding are prohibited; please leave all animals and pets at home (service animals welcome)
