Vacation Week at Wachusett Meadow

Need something to do during school vacation? Kids ages 5–12 can come to Wachusett Meadow and explore what is happening at the sanctuary seasonally. Sign up for single-day sessions or join us for the whole week. Before Care (8:00-9:00 am) and After Care (3:00-4:00 pm) are available for all sessions.

December 

3-day session (Monday–Wednesday) • 9:00 am-3:00 pm

Discover how wildlife and plants adapt to the arrival of winter through fun crafts, games, and outdoor adventures with peers.  

February 

4-day session (Tuesday–Friday) • 9:00 am-3:00 pm

Explore the wonders of winter while hiking the trails, playing nature-themed games, creating seasonal crafts, and observing how plants, insects, and animals respond to the colder season.  

April

5-day session (Monday–Friday) • 9:00 am-3:00 pm

Celebrate the arrival of spring and the changes happening at the sanctuary. Have fun with games, creative activities, and plenty of outdoor adventures.
