Accessibility at Oak Knoll

Mass Audubon strives to create a welcoming presence for a wide range of visitors, including making our sanctuaries and nature centers like Oak Knoll more accessible for all to enjoy.

All Persons Trail

On this new accessible  trail, three multi-sensory interpretive stops invite you to explore tactile displays as you explore a meadow where birds nest, brush by the edge of a woodland, and end on an overlook over a freshwater marsh. A post and rope navigation guide is in place.

Distance

The trail is 728 foot roundtrip. This trail has a firm and stable surface of crushed stone. The grade of incline is 5% or less.

  • Self-guided tour with three interpretive stops all labelled in raised print and braille, with tactile display items
  • Three multi-use seating areas
  • Viewing boardwalk overlooking a Freshwater Marsh, an active wildlife habitat
  • Picnic area
