Vacation Week Camps at Museum of American Bird Art Education Center

Looking for something to do over school vacation weeks in December and April? MABA offers drop-off Vacation Days programs for children ages 5-13.

Our school vacation week drop-off programs immerse children in nature and art through stories, games, hikes, and explorations of different art mediums.

These programs are developed and led by our education coordinator Sean Kent and a dedicated team of environmental and art educators.

December Vacation Days

Uncover nature's mysteries as you explore the wintery world in our wildlife sanctuary. Become inspired by winter and create wild art. Learn about animal tracking, how birds and other animals survive in winter, and go on a snow safari.

April Vacation Week

Watch spring and the sanctuary come alive at our vernal pool, brook, and meadow. Become inspired by spring and create wild art every day. Learn about the secret life of pollinators, discover tadpoles, search for migratory birds, and plant seedlings of native wildflowers.
