MABA Education Center Open Studio Series
February 25, 2026
Unleash Your Inner Artist at The Nest's Open Studio Series
Explore your artistic side through the MABA Education Center’s monthly open studio programs. Whether you're drawn to pottery, drawing, painting, or printmaking, this supportive, nature-filled environment invites everyone—regardless of skill level—to create at their own pace and connect with each other.
At The Nest in Canton, choose from three distinct studio options, each designed to help you engage with nature through different artistic mediums.
Nature-Inspired Pottery Open Studio Series
Get hands-on to craft something special at our relaxed pottery studio in these two-session series.
Experiment with slab building, sculpting, carving, and surface decoration using a variety of tools and materials. Utilize our locally sourced natural textures, custom stencils, 3D-printed texture rollers, and specialty tools. Each session includes two pounds of clay, and we'll fire all your finished pieces in our kiln.
Our skilled instructor will provide guidance, tips, and suggestions as needed while you sculpt your clay creation. Throughout each two-hour Saturday morning session, offering demonstrations and inspiration whenever you need it. You'll also have access to our studio glazes to finish your work. Beginners and experienced ceramicists welcome!
