Nature-Inspired Pottery Open Studio Series

Get hands-on to craft something special at our relaxed pottery studio in these two-session series.

Experiment with slab building, sculpting, carving, and surface decoration using a variety of tools and materials. Utilize our locally sourced natural textures, custom stencils, 3D-printed texture rollers, and specialty tools. Each session includes two pounds of clay, and we'll fire all your finished pieces in our kiln.

Our skilled instructor will provide guidance, tips, and suggestions as needed while you sculpt your clay creation. Throughout each two-hour Saturday morning session, offering demonstrations and inspiration whenever you need it. You'll also have access to our studio glazes to finish your work. Beginners and experienced ceramicists welcome!

We’ll provide a wide range of art supplies, including drawing pencils (2H to 6B), charcoal pencils, drawing and watercolor paper, nature journaling materials, watercolor paints, and brushes. You're also welcome to bring your own art materials.

Our experienced artist will provide hands-on guidance and support when you need it, while giving you the freedom and space to focus on your own imagination and process. We offer more than just an open studio—you'll connect with other artists of all skill levels, celebrate the intersection of nature and art, and bring your visions to life in a beautiful setting.

You'll use an assortment of printmaking tools, including gel printing plates of different sizes, brayers (rollers), barrens, artist-quality printmaking ink, printmaking paper and card stock, and custom mylar stencils. Take home up to 10 custom prints, memorializing a day spent exploring the intersection of art and nature.

Our knowledgeable teaching artist will offer hands-on guidance and support for your printmaking project while you explore at your own pace. We designed this workshop for all experience levels—it's perfect for beginners with little to no artistic experience.
