Opening Reception

About the Exhibition
Exhibiting in Audubon’s beautiful gallery inspired us to examine how the natural world is woven into our work. For some of us, the environment is the primary focus, echoing the values of protecting and preserving the land for all. For others, the landscape serves as a stage, providing the atmosphere and context for the human stories we tell. We recognize that we do not exist apart from the environment; nature is the language we use to express our inner lives. Through these seven lenses, we invite you to see the natural world not just as a destination, but as a vital part of our shared identity and a profound source of inspiration.
About the Artists
We are photographers—and friends of more than a decade—who have grown together as artists and become a source of mutual support. After careers in diverse fields, we are now focusing our creative energy on photography. For many years, we have collaborated in a critique group mentored by Emily Belz, an exceptional photographer and teacher whose guidance has been pivotal to our respective artistic journeys.
