About the Exhibition
This collection of paintings shares memories and visions from the long walks the artist has taken in New England through their beautiful and melancholic landscapes. From nocturnes and wetlands, to twining invasive bittersweet vines, there's a haunted and otherworldly feeling to these visions of a world transitioning rapidly toward an uncertain future.

About the Artist
Dianna Vosburg is a Boston-based artist, works primarily in oil painting and occasionally site-specific installation. Her work in both media centers around optical special effects, such as the light-emanating power of glazed oils, iridescence, and phosphorescence. Her work is represented in private collections, and she has shown nationally. She won a prize for her phosphorescent installation, “The Dreams of Trees” at ArtBlast 2016, “Bringing the Outside In.” Dianna has recently published an essay in the journal Metapsychosis on the intersection of visual art, cultural change, and philosophy.
Dianna attended Goddard College in Vermont for two years. She returned to California to earn her BA in Psychology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, in 1986. Back in New England, Dianna studied oil painting at the Danforth, Worcester, and DeCordova museum schools, and life drawing at New England Realist Art School. Dianna earned her MFA-Visual Arts degree from Lesley University’s College of Art and Design in 2008. She has taught privately and at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Dianna maintains a studio practice in an old mill in Framingham, MA.
