Broadmoor wildlife sanctuary in Natick will feature photography by women artists from the Sudbury Valley Nature Photographers.
Beaver Life: Photography Show
Two summers ago, four women photographers turned their camera lenses to beavers west of Boston. They found they enjoyed photographing these adorable, aquatic animals more than they could have imagined. The more they spent time with beavers in their natural habitat, the more they learned about the vital role these incredible engineers play in creating wetlands, slowing floods, preventing wildfires, and supporting biodiversity. Over the last two years, these women have amassed an extensive collection of photographs, the best of which will be on display at Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary’s gallery November 3 through December 20, 2026.
Opening Reception
To celebrate the opening of Beaver Life, Broadmoor will host a reception on Sunday November 8 from 2:00 -4:00 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the artists and enjoy light refreshments while exploring the exhibit.
The Photographers
The four women behind Beaver Life: Photography Show are Barbara Peskin, Nicole Mordecai, Phyllis Neufeld, and Jean Fain. All four are members of the Sudbury Valley Nature Photographers photo club.
