Trail Description
Nature Trail
This loop starts with a flat path through a field of wildflowers and native grasses and continues down through white pine and oak woods into a glacially formed ravine featuring large boulders that were moved by the glacier around 12,000 years ago
The trail crosses a bridge over Jar Brook and continues up through beech and birch woods. The forest gives way to an inner meadow with views to the east where Wood Thrushes, Indigo Buntings, and Red-tailed Hawks can be seen or heard at the forest edges. From there, the path loops back to the parking lot.
