We are thrilled to share the latest progress from our saltmarsh restoration and migration project at Great Neck Wildlife Sanctuary in Wareham, as the efforts we initiated in 2022 have yielded exceptional results.

This year, the South East Team has set a bold goal to raise $20,000 to support our Environmental Education programs. Did you know? Last year, our region provided more than $30,000 in camperships through our sliding scale and scholarship program.

With the help of property staff and our Regional Conservation Ecologist, this garden bed was created to focus on enhancing bird and pollinator habitat by establishing native perennials, shrubs, and flowering herbs that provide or attract resources used by birds, butterflies, and other pollinators on an area formally covered with lawn.
