Snowy owl on Martha's Vineyard

They are big, white, and fabulously feathered (even their feet), and have captured the island’s attention. In fact, snowy owls are one of the few birds that can entice a non-birder to go birding. It is easy to understand why.

Education and Camp Barn in fall

It was a historic year for Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary. Early 2017 brought the end of a very quick—and successful—fundraising campaign that enabled construction to start on the sanctuary’s first new building in 50 years.
