Fern & Feather Preschool at Felix Neck

After much discussion and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to permanently close the Fern & Feather Preschool at Felix Neck in Edgartown.

This decision was not made lightly. We know many children have benefited from this preschool, and we have a deep appreciation for those children, their wonderful families, and our caring preschool staff who have created countless special memories together.

The spirit of Fern & Feather Preschool will live on through our dedicated staff. While the preschool is closing, our sanctuary staff remains committed to their work at the site and within the community. They will continue to organize and participate in various community programs, ensuring the positive and enriching experiences that Fern & Feather Preschool has provided will continue to benefit the community. Fern and Feather Nature Camp will continue to serve Islanders and visitors as it has for over sixty years.
