Trails at Canoe Meadows

Canoe Meadows in Pittsfield has three miles of well-marked walking trails include two loops that you can explore.

Trail Descriptions

Sacred Way Trail

An easy 30–45 minute walk along the Housatonic River, past an old oxbow pond, to Sackett Brook, returning to West Pond. Excellent for birding. This trail is sometimes flooded due to recent beaver activity. Please check with our office for current trail conditions (413-637-0320).

Wolf Pine Trail

An easy 45–60-minute walk through leafy hardwoods and back along the old carriage road through a shady canopy of hemlock trees.
