Broad Meadow Brook Nature Day Camp | Staff
Our Camp Staff
Our dedicated and knowledgeable staff comprises skilled professionals (teachers and naturalists), college students, and junior counselors who are age 16 and older. This specialized team works to foster a sense of community among campers and build connections with nature. Counselors are carefully selected based on their maturity, enthusiasm, teaching experience, natural history knowledge, and deep commitment to engaging campers with nature. All undergo background and reference checks, are CPR- and First Aid-certified, and attend a two-week training program prior to the start of camp.
Camp Director — Lisa Carlin
"I have been the camp director since 2006. I love camp! I was a camper at an overnight camp and later became a counselor at that camp. I bring my love and passion for being outdoors and exploring the world around us to all the campers and staff at Broad Meadow Brook. I believe that all kids are amazing and I want to help our campers be the best they can be! Our camp does this with the help of talented and caring staff. I can’t wait to see you and your kids at camp this summer!"
What Others Are Saying
“It was a great first camp experience! The counselors were caring and helped my daughter transition successfully the first day. Activities were age-appropriate and fun! She learned so much. Thank you!”
