Bird Research in Action Series, Gr. 6-8

Join us at Wellfleet Bay’s bird banding station where students will engage in hands-on bird research! Students will work with wildlife biologists to record data about the birds that pass through the sanctuary during migration or live here year-round. Students will then use that data to analyze changes over time and discuss the role of this research in the conservation of birds. This program pairs classroom visits with a field experience.
