Animal Adaptations

Through hands-on activities and exploration, students will observe and identify adaptations of common New England animals andidentify how local wildlife use physical characteristics and behaviors to meet some of their needs. Students will examine animal artifacts, play an adaptation game and look for adaptations in a schoolyard exploration or sanctuary trail walk.
