Water and Wildlife - 3rd Grade
Four 1-hour lessons focused on life cycles and the importance of healthy aquatic ecosystems. Lessons focus on vernal pools, beaver pond wetlands, steams and rivers. A 2-hour field trip explores three aquatic ecosystems at a Mass Audubon wildlife sanctuary or a suitable natural area near your school.
