Bring your students to the Museum of American Bird Art Education Center to discover the biodiversity of a forest habitat! Give your students an opportunity outside of their classroom to learn about biodiversity through ponding, nature journaling, and sharpening their observational skills with a leaf shape variation study. Students will be able to use evidence to construct an explanation for why variation in characteristics is advantageous and will analyze how changes in a habitat may affect the ability of an organism to live in its habitat.
