Disturbance and Resilience - Field Trip

Bring your students to Moose Hill to discover the ecosystem dynamics of a forest habitat! Give your students an opportunity outside of their classroom to learn about and assess the impacts of disruptions and human activities on local ecosystems, including freshwater bodies, forests, and meadows. During a guided exploration, students explore real-world examples of ecological protection efforts at our wildlife sanctuaries and identify their pros and cons. Students will apply their learning by brainstorming solutions to protect ecosystems and people in their own communities in the face of rising temperatures and climate change.
