Salt Marsh Exploration Field Trip (3-5)
Field Trip (2-3 hours): Give your class the chance to explore a real salt marsh. Students will learn to identify live minnows collected in fish traps, handle live animals that inhabit the salt marsh, such as crabs and clams, and find ‘;nature’s recyclers’ (tiny snails) in the marsh. The program will close with a discussion of their creature adaptations. Fall and spring only.
