Amazing Animals and Habitats: Where the River Meets the Sea
A salt marsh is a habitat where a river connects with the sea. Students will construct a large salt marsh with life-size models of snails, fish, and horseshoe crabs to learn how animals rely on the salt marsh for food, rest, breeding, and nesting. Students will handle live snails, crabs, and minnows, and meet a horseshoe crab in this program. Fall and spring only.
Allergy Note: This program may feature live crustaceans, mollusks, and fish.
