Ecological Interactions—Freshwater
Transform your students’ learning with direct observation of animal and plant life in freshwater bodies or by bringing aquatic samples to your classroom. Students investigate freshwater ecosystems hands-on and under microscopes Students find local examples of interactions in the ecosystem including biotic and abiotic factors, biodiversity and biotic health indicators, evolution and adaptation, organism identification, and vulnerabilities to climate change. Students leave having engaged in real-world hands-on investigations, data collection, and communicating using evidence.
