Science of Food and Farming
Become a farmer’s helper and assist with seasonal farm chores such as planting, weeding, harvesting, mucking, or feeding animals. Working directly in fields and barns, students explore the challenges of growing plants and raising livestock as food while learning how farms connect with climate change. Students will have memorable hands-on working experience and gain understanding about small farm practices.
