Discover which insects help plants by spreading pollen, eating pests, or breaking down materials in the soil. Students stretch their minds to investigate how insects meet their needs by using their bodies in different ways to find shelter and seek food, and why insects happen to also benefit plants. Students directly observe insects in their habitats, identify different life cycle stages, and use evidence to explain their observations.
