Ecological Issues & Our Changing Climate

How do we find the balance between the Earth’s limited resources and how humans use them? Through direct observation and hands-on activities, students engage in learning how our local ecosystems are changing over time, the impact of human activities on the climate, and how people can manage the land to reduce impacts. Students gain skills in identifying climate impacts, speaking about climate change, and discussing climate-friendly changes that can be made in our communities.
