Adaptations of Plants and Animals

Give your students the chance to explore the local environment to discover the amazing ways plants and animals use their unique adaptations to thrive. Students investigate animals, plants, or both to learn about behaviors to deal with changing seasons, structures to disperse seeds or defend against predators, or body parts to hunt underwater or hide in a field of grass. Students interact directly with nature, build observation skills, and leave with a clear understanding of how adaptations work.
