Humans and Ecosystems
Students will assess the impacts of human activities on local ecosystems, including freshwater bodies, forests, and meadows. During a guided exploration, students explore real-world examples of ecological protection efforts at our wildlife sanctuaries and identify their pros and cons. Students will apply their learning by brainstorming solutions to protect ecosystems and people in their own communities in the face of rising temperatures and climate change.
