Women on bridge Join today and get outside at one of our 60+ wildlife sanctuaries.

Students will discover how energy moves through ecosystems-from the sun to plants, and all the way to predators. Through a guided sanctuary exploration, students will make first-hand observations of producers, consumers, and decomposers. While they identify the varied roles individual organisms play in the web of life, they will also enhance their understanding of relationships among organisms. Students will show their learning by creatively modeling energy flow and interactions among organisms with visuals, verbal explanations, and demonstrations.
