Energy Flow

Students will discover how energy moves through ecosystems-from the sun to plants, and all the way to predators. Through interactive activities, students will investigate the roles of producers, consumers, and decomposers. While they identify the varied roles individual organisms play in the web of life, they will also enhance their understanding of relationships among organisms. Students will show their learning by creatively modeling energy flow and interactions among organisms with visuals, verbal explanations, and demonstrations.
