Bring plant and animal adaptations to life in this inquiry-based program where students explore the fascinating ways plants and animals use body parts and behaviors to move, find food, protect themselves, and grow. Through a combination of hands-on activities, movement games, and explorations, students will discover real life adaptations for survival such as wings, fuzzy leaves, and camouflage.

On your field trip, students will explore the sanctuary with an experienced field teacher, searching for examples of plant and animal adaptations. Hands-on exploration stations will deepen student knowledge and strengthen connections to your curriculum.
