Ecosystem Dynamics
Step into the dynamic world of forest ecology with a field experience at Blue Hills Trailside Museum! Outside the classroom, students will investigate and learn about the impacts of natural disruptions and human activity on local ecosystems, including freshwater bodies, forests, and meadows. Through guided exploration, students will evaluate real-world examples of ecological protection efforts at our wildlife sanctuary and identify their benefits and challenges. Students will then apply their learning by developing solutions to protect ecosystems and supporting community resilience in a rapidly changing climate.
