Disturbance and Resilience
Bring your classroom to life with a disturbance and resilience program! Students will assess the impacts of human activities on local ecosystems, including freshwater bodies, forests, and meadows. Explore real-world examples of ecological protection efforts and identify their pros and cons. Students will put their knowledge into action by brainstorming real-world solutions to protect both ecosystems and their local communities from the impacts of rising temperatures and climate change. Students will also have the opportunity to meet and ask questions about one of our live animal ambassadors.
