Sea Turtle Strandings: Drop-In Learning

Description

Join us any time between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm for a fun, educational drop-in session focused on sea turtle strandings on Cape Cod! Arrive when you can and explore at your own pace-there's no set schedule, so you’re free to stay for a few minutes or the whole time.

These sessions are designed for all ages, offering hands-on activities for kids and in-depth learning for adults:

Children will learn about the rescue process by becoming a "sea turtle doctor" and helping plush sea turtle patients "recover"-just like real wildlife rescuers!

Adults will dive deeper into the science and conservation efforts surrounding cold-stunned sea turtles and explore ways to protect these threatened animals.

Free with sanctuary admission or membership. No registration required-just stop by!

*Note, children must be accompanied by an adult. This is not a drop-off program.
