Description
Get to know the nature of the South Shore at Manomet Public Library, where a Mass Audubon educator will introduce local nature lessons to you and your little one all in the cool comfort of an air-conditioned indoor space.
Branch out and get to the root of the science behind the terrific trees growing all around us. Discover why different trees grow leaves with distinctive shapes and features and learn how trees help wildlife and keep our local ecosystems healthy. Get to know some of the many tree species found right here in Massachusetts, then tap into your creative side by making your own leaf rubbings or pressed leaves to take home.
We'll explore through games, art, and activities that make science feel like play. Connect with peers and nature at this summer favorite.
This program is made possible thanks to the America the Beautiful Initiative.
