Stony Brook Nature Camp: Explorers - Can You Dig it?
Description
Reveal hidden fossils, bones and stones. Create edible rocks. Unlock your inner archeologist. Delve into the dirt. Find your own fossils to take home, create pictures with crystals and take a look at cat's eye quartz or a groundhog's teeth!
Explorers study their surrounding environment in-depth, learning about complex ecological concepts. This group explores the far reaches of Stony Brook as they participate in activities, games, and crafts.
Explorers have a camper-to-counselor ratio of 6:1.
